Hungarian Folk Music In and Around Washington, DC
Magnólia Zenekar is a traditional Hungarian string band of violin, viola, and bass. Carrying on the traditions of the popular folk revival movement called táncház (dance house) that began in the 1970s, we play for both Hungarians and non-Hungarians attracted to the infectious music and engaging social dances from the Hungarian-speaking villages of Europe.
